James 3:17
King James Version
17 But the wisdom that is from above
is first pure,
then peaceable,
gentle,
and easy to be intreated,
full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality,
and without hypocrisy.
What causes addiction?
As born again, I can only think of one thing.
For SPIRIT made things pretty clear.
I honestly feel people get addicted because they don't have real fellowship with CHRIST.
Not all people are born again.
Not all born agains are TRUE born agains.
A true born again has fellowship with CHRIST.
He has committed himself to CHRIST alone.
He feels the love GOD has for him.
He is able to love others as GOD wants him to love.
His source of peace, love, joy, and comfort is JESUS.
There is no gap in his life that needs to be filled by addiction.
There is no room for the enemy, who only seeks to corrupt us.
The body is the temple of the HOLY SPIRIT.
It is sacred.
You would not want to defile it.
Having true fellowship with CHRIST means you keep your mind, body, and spirit pure.
Waiting for the day GOD will have us meet JESUS up in the air, and be with the LORD forever!
Having true fellowship with CHRIST means you are in His service.
GOD keeps you busy, for there's much to do.
Matthew 9:37
King James Version
37 Then saith he unto his disciples,
The harvest truly is plenteous,
but the labourers are few;
Having fellowship with CHRIST means you feel loved.
Romans 8:38-39
King James Version
38 For I am persuaded,
that neither death,
nor life,
nor angels,
nor principalities,
nor powers,
nor things present,
nor things to come,
39 Nor height,
nor depth,
nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In turn, you want to love others, too.
There is joy in your relationships, for you are filled with SPIRIT.
Being born again is a true blessing.
For SPIRIT teaches you everything about JESUS.
There is no emptiness in your heart.
Only a fullness that JESUS brings.
When you have JESUS, you have everything.
What room would there be, for addiction?
In JESUS is peace.
John 14:27
King James Version
27 Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth,
give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
