1 Corinthians 6:12

As there are TONS of people in the world, so are the TONS of addictions.
Satan is a factory of addictions.
Addiction is bondage, and enslavement.
The HOLY SPIRIT led me to these primary ones.
Listen to what the LORD says about these:
Face.
1 Samuel 16:7

or on the height of his stature;

for the Lord seeth not as man seeth;
for man looketh on the outward appearance,
but the Lord looketh on the heart.
Fame.
John 12:43

43 For they loved the praise of men
more than the praise of God.
Fortune.
Luke 16:13

13 No servant can serve two masters:
for either he will hate the one,
and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one,
and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God
and mammon.
Flesh.
Matthew 26:41

41 Watch and pray,
that ye enter not into temptation:
the spirit indeed is willing,
but the flesh is weak.
The apostles give details about the nature of addiction:
Galatians 5:19-21

emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

James 1:12-15

Some people seek "potential" for fortune, through fortune-telling:

The LORD JESUS was accurate.
He declared our spirit "willing", but the flesh "weak".
And He has a solution for that:
Matthew 26:41

Only THROUGH JESUS, can we have peace, and conquer addictions.
JESUS is the WAY to freedom.
From ANYTHING, and EVERYTHING, that enslaves you.
John 8:36
